Module 12: Course Review & Exam Briefing

Before the final exam, this module is a checkpoint rather than new material. The exam that follows has two parts:

• 10 multiple-choice questions drawn from Modules 1–11, covering voltage/joule theory, solar sizing, post specification, spacing standards, and safety principles. A score of 80% (8 of 10) is required to pass this portion.
• One capstone design submission: a written fencing plan for a property scenario given on the exam page, applying the same planning sequence you practiced in Module 10. This is submitted for instructor review and is not auto-scored on this page.

A quick self-check before continuing — you should be able to answer all of these from memory before attempting the exam:

• What's the recommended minimum effective on-fence voltage for horses, and how do you actually measure it?
• What's the difference in role between a line post and a corner post, and why does that change the material/depth requirement?
• Why does peak sun-hours matter more than daylight hours when sizing a solar panel?
• Name two design factors from Module 9 that directly reduce entanglement risk.

If any of those feel shaky, it's worth a quick re-read of the relevant module using the sidebar before starting the timed portion of the exam.
